Built on the site of the former Mullaloo Tavern, the Mullaloo Beach Hotel located in the heart of Perth’s northern beaches, has surpassed its previous reputation as a typically Australian pub. This newly constructed hotel reopened its doors in October 2005, and won a “HIA Australian Tavern of the year” award.

The complex consists of the Oceanside bar and Panorama restaurant and a bottle shop. Situated above these are serviced apartments, offering luxury two and three bedroom accommodation, and two large penthouses overlooking Mullaloo beach.

Situated close to the ocean, it was vital that materials suitable for the environmental conditions were selected in order to preserve the lifespan of the building. Structerre provided structural documentation and the provision of construction administration services. The result is a prominent architecturally designed building achieving maximum structural efficiency.
